GRAND WISHES Advocating To Preserve The Grandparent Grandchild Bond eBook Susan Hoffman Reviews
I am on a journey that I never chose. It is my way to try to understand everything about a problem before I can adjust my heart and thinking. I never realized how widespread the problem of Grandparent Alienation was until I became a victim. I never realized how devastating it could be. Susan Hoffman shares her own experiences in a positive way, and makes a situation that seems hopeless become an opportunity. I may not be able to do a thing about my own situation, but I can make sure that when my grandchildren become parents and grandparents, there are laws in place to protect the innocent in family trauma.
As I read, I was reminded of Candy Lightner, who used her child's death and her frustration to found M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers), John Walsh whose tragic loss of his son Adam, led to the creation of the Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and a little girl named Amber Hagerman's abduction and death, that led to the creation of Amber Alerts - warnings to motorists that have saved and returned children.
This is a book born out of despair that offers hope.
An amazing book by the author, who did not give up on her own situation, but instead she changed the laws regarding it. A must read for anyone in this situation. Very helpful and informative.
Great book,I knew it would be just by who the author is,Susan Hoffman.
This book is an extremely helpful guide to dealing with grandparent alienation syndrome. I has been good for me knowing that there are so many others who share this problem.
Thank you
A truly remarkable book by the author, who found herself in a situation and instead of giving up she changed the laws regarding it. This book is a must have for all in this situation for it is a handbook of hope and information.
